ACCP Releases Third Edition of Residency Field Guide

Pharmacy students who are competing for residency programs have a new, updated tool to help them stand out from the crowd. The ACCP Field Guide to Becoming a Standout Pharmacy Residency Candidate, Third Edition, offers a step-by-step approach for students seeking to distinguish themselves from other candidates.

Written by experienced and dedicated pharmacy residency proponents, the Field Guide provides detailed, practical information to use throughout the first, second, third, and all-important fourth years of pharmacy education – information students can use to chart their course to a successful postgraduate experience. Updated chapters such as Step I: Chart Your Journey, Step II: Make the Grade, Step VII: Expand Your Network, and more, join with the newest addition to the Field Guide, Step X: Write an Effective Letter of Intent. This new chapter, written by Scott D. Nei, Pharm.D., BCPS, BCCCP, and Garrett E. Schramm, Pharm.D., FCCP, BCPS, will help students focus their message and put their best foot forward.
